The Satellite Control Center at UT-Austin is a fully redundant operational ground station located on the top floor of the Aerospace Engineering building on the university campus. It is operated by UT-Austin students under faculty supervision. The ground station includes two UHF/VHF Yagi antennas with 16.8 dBc of gain. A 3-meter S-band dish is also available. Groundstation hardware includes IC-910H VHF/UHF transceivers, ICOM PS-125 transceiver power supplies, and plasma display screens. Ground station software includes MacDoppler for Cocoa, Windows Hyperterminal, MixW, and ONEStop.
