Biography

Sebastian is currently pursuing a PhD Degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin.  His main interests are in orbital mechanics, control, and satellite design.  He is originally from Medellin, Colombia and came to the University of Texas in Fall 2001, where he completed a B.S and M.S in Aerospace Engineering.  He is currently the student project manager of the FASTRAC Satellites.  He joined Dr. Lightsey's research group as a GRA in Fall 2006. He previously worked in the Texas Advanced Computing Center, also as GRA.
