Biography

Eric Monda received his Masters degree from UT in May of 2003. His Masters thesis research was on GPS pseudolite based relative navigation, based on work performed at the NSTL at NASA's Johnson Space Center.

His undergraduate work was completed at the University of Missouri-Columbia in May 2001. While at the University of Missouri, he studied Mechanical Engineering, earning his Bachelor's degree Magna Cum Laude with Honors in May 2001. His Bachelor's thesis was on feedback guidance control of halo orbit rendezvous maneuvers.

Eric has completed 5 internships with 3 organizations. Crane National Vendors in Bridgeton, MO in the summers of 1998 and 1999; The Kimberly-Clark Corporation of Neenah, WI in the summer of 2000; and Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM through the summers of 2001 and 2002.

After completing his Masters degree at the University of Texas, Eric has worked as a flight design analyst and guidance and navigation engineer on the Atlas V rocket in Denver, CO.  He is now a Senior Systems Engineer.
