Biography

Tom Campbell was employed full-time as the Satellite Lab Manager at The University of Texas at Austin through Spring 2007.  His responsibilities included overseeing the daily operation of the lab as well as working with graduate and undergraduate students in the lab and monitoring all student built satellite hardware projects.  Tom was also the Systems Engineer for the Formation Autonomy Satellite with Thrust, Relnav, Attitude, and Crosslink (FASTRAC) mission (http://fastrac.ae.utexas.edu).  Among many other tasks, Tom was the lead designer of the communications subsystem that is used on FASTRAC.  Tom received his Masters Degree from UT-Austin in May 2006. His hobbies include motorcycles and offshore sailing.
